a bit about me:

I worked as a full-time actress for Franz Marx Films for the first five years of my career. While I took a working holiday in the UK in 2004, I worked on short films and I developed a strong interest in the process behind the camera. I returned to South Africa and studied Film and Television at the Motion Picture Academy, the subjects I took were Production, Editing, Writing, and Directing with 19 distinctions in my first year. In my second year, I was offered a position as an assistant and video editor for a Wildlife Cinematographer, and I gladly accepted. The position required that I had to relocate to Cape Town. At the beginning of 2011, I joined an acting agency, and since then I have been acting full time in Commercials, Films, Television and some Voice Over work. Since May 2013 I worked as a freelance Casting Director for KAYOS Casting and Scout's Honour Casting Directors. In October 2015 I took the leap of faith and decided to open my own studio door as a Casting Director – Typecast. Typecast proved to be a stepping stone for a venture that is now very close to my heart. I have finally found a platform where I can share what I have learned and pay it forward to young aspiring actors in the form of an NPO called the Actor's Toolbox.
